I have always had an interest in riding but never had the opportunity to be around horses other than the occasional trail ride. As an adult beginner, trust was an important factor for me. My goal was to overcome my fears caused by my ignorance of the basics. Ellie’s gentle authority and ability to match horse and rider put me at ease. My confidence in her knowledge has motivated and encouraged me to push past my fears. This past year has been such a fun challenging adventure for me. At Galloway’s I have been allowed to observe and participate in the extensive care of each special horse. Both Ken and Ellie and their boarders have been so generous in sharing their knowledge with me and made me feel like part of the family.
