Dressage Training with
Ellie Scofield
v All horses accepted at Galloways
Farm are in a “full training” program that each week includes either 4 - 5
training rides or 4 riding lessons or any mix of both (a total of 16 – 20 per
month). The mix of training rides and
lessons is made by a plan devised by Ellie as trainer and the owner of the
horse. All training plans are aimed at
the goals of the owner and rider of the horse.

v Training horses are
accepted depending upon availability of stabling at Galloways Farm. A limited number of horses in training are
also accepted at our neighboring boarding/lesson barn, Malachi Acres.

& Dreams in Dressage (buying horses either locally or globally depending
upon Your wishes). Finding the
appropriate horse for the rider is so important to us. It is the first and the most important

v Dressage lessons are
available for beginner through advanced adult riders and advanced junior
riders. School horses are available that
are quiet, safe and well-trained. All
school horse lessons are located at Malachi
Acres.
v School program lessons at Malachi Acres by Ellie are offered Tues
– Friday afternoons and evenings as well as on Sundays. Check current
schedule and then also call for availability.
v Lessons are paid for on a
monthly basis at the first lesson of each month. Full charge is made for scheduled lessons not
cancelled 24 hours ahead. (back to top of page)

at preparing our riders and their horses to enter as Winners into the Show
Arena!
v Galloways Farm Team shows
at USDF Recognized Dressage Shows, Class ‘A’ Arabian Shows, Region XII
Championships, Sport Horse National Championships and local Dressage Schooling
Shows.

v Galloways Farm Boarding is
offered to full time students and training clients of Ellie Scofield.
v Full-Size Lighted Dressage
Arena with incredible footing, dragged and groomed daily.
v Immaculate Grass Turn Out Paddocks. All horses are turned out daily (weather
permitting) and are turned out in individual paddocks.

horse friendly community of Country Acres - convenient to both
v Boarding horses are part of
a regular worming and vaccination program.
Worming is done on a regular schedule is charged to your board
bill. Owner’s may choose to have vaccinations
given by their own veterinarian or by the farm’s veterinarian. The cost of vaccinations (as well as any
other Dr. care) is billed directly by the veterinarian.
v Our feeding program is
designed to provide the best nutrition your horse needs to build fitness, have
a good attitude towards his job and stay healthy long-term. We feed Purina feeds (2-3x per day) and a
wonderful western timothy hay (4x per day).
Owner supplied supplements are fed once or twice per day as
requested. We ask for owners to provide
their supplements from “Smartpak Equine”.
v Includes a weekly laundry
service for saddle pads and wraps.
Additional charge for washing blankets, sheets and other items.
v We live on site and oversee
the horses and our facility at all times.
This is our home and we want it to be your horses home too!
v Our neighboring barn,
Malachi Acres, offers a traditional boarding program. Owners Donice and Stephen Muccio run a
